Section 56 Chair
Matt Bailey Matt Bailey is the Section 56 Chair. Though he became a Brother in 1998, Matt got the APO Spark at the 2000 Philadelphia National Convention while serving on the Membership & Extension Reference Committee. It was at this convention that he learned that A**master is a great game to play with Brothers you've just met, and that it's fun to hitchhike home with the College of Mt. Union when your own chapter leaves you in a blizzard. Jerry Schroeder sunk his battleship during the 2002 New Orleans convention during a particularly heated debate. He was appointed the official Region 5 Voting Stud at the 2004 convention in Denver, CO. Most recently, Matt has been seen roaming between his chapters in Western Ohio, encouraging them get the heck off their campuses and to visit each other. Matt also is trying to teach his Presidents to be "cheerleaders for their chapters," complete with pom-poms. In real life, he is an Organ Procurement & Transplant Coordinator, and is currently researching ways to transplant his enthusiasm for Alpha Phi Omega into other Active & Alumni. |
